IDT Gas Sensor and Wireless Power Transmitter Win Elecfans T
SAN JOSE, Calif., December 10, 2018 – Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT) (NASDAQ: IDTI), today announced that its ZMOD4410 integrated digital gas sensor and P9242-G 15W wireless power transmitter received Technology Innovation Awards at the Elecfans IoT Innovation Conference 2018. The first device of the IDT ZMOD family, the ZMOD4410 gas sensor was recognized because it offers best-in-class stability and sensing for measuring volatile organic compound (VOC) gases and is ideal for consumer and industrial indoor air quality (IAQ) applications. The IDT P9242-G fixed frequency transmitter IC was acknowledged for its high level of integration and wireless power convergence covering WPC Qi charging profiles and allowing both Android and iOS smartphone fast wireless charging.
“It’s an honor to receive the Technology Innovation award, as it reinforces our leadership position in this market,” said Uwe Guenther, general manager of the industrial group at IDT. “The ZMOD4410 supports software-configurable methods of operation enabling low-power devices and room-specific applications to monitor TVOC, eCO2, and odors in the home. IDT’s 12-year history of producing and shipping metal oxide (MOx) materials combined with miniature packaging enables unique environmental sensing features that give the ZMOD4410 a significant advantage over existing gas sensor solutions.”
“The Technology Innovation award is an honor that reinforces IDT’s leadership position the wireless power market,” said Laurence McGarry, product marketing director of the IDT wireless power division. “The innovative P9242-G transmitter IC converges all popular wireless charging protocols including WPC Baseline Power Profile (BPP), Extended Power Profile (EPP), up to 7.5W iPhone charging, and Android proprietary fast charging modes. It is truly unique in the industry.”
